YEREVAN, JULY 27, ARMENPRESS. Police demand the organizers of the rally in Khorenatsi Street to relocate the rally to another place as soon as possible.

Ashot Aharonyan – head of the Public Relations and Press Service of the Police – posted a notification on Facebook.

“The Police of Armenia states that a direct and real danger of escalation of the situation is present in the blocked part of Khorenatsi Street. Therefore, the danger to the rally participants’ lives and safety, as well as the danger to public security cannot be prevented otherwise than by relocating the rally to another place. Thus the Police of Armenia demand the rally organizers to relocate the rally to another place as soon as possible, where it will be possible to ensure the security of the rally participants within the scope of the responsibilities of the Police”.
