YEREVAN, JULY 27, ARMENPRESS.The Shengavit department of the Investigative Committee has received materials on Levon Barseghyan illegally carrying and possessing a knife.

The Investigative Committee revealed that on July 27 at 03:30, Levon Barseghyan had been detained by Police in the Khorenatsi Street and transferred to the Shengavit Police precinct.

Upon searching L. Barseghyan, officers found a 18,8 cm long folding knife .

Forensic examination of the weapon was carried out.

Taking into account that sufficient grounds are present attributed to Article 235, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code, a criminal case has been initiated on July 27.

The investigator decided to have forensics examine Levon Barseghyan to ensure a comprehensive and full investigation.
