YEREVAN, JULY 27, ARMENPRESS. The Police of Armenia released a video which shows how the gunmen fired shots during the firefight in the Police Patrol Station. By this video the Police opposes the version spread by the gunmen which said one of the gunmen Pavlik Manukyan was wounded when he went to surrender one of the wounded gunmen, and Gagik Yeghiazaryan and Aram Hakobyan were arrested when they tried to find barrow for taking their wounded friends. Whereas, the video clearly shows the moment of one of the gunmen’s surrendering holding hands up.

“Several people, allegedly referring to the gunmen, spread false information on the events taking place in the Police Patrol Station. The reality and the facts are presented in this video”, Ashot Aharonyan, Head of the Public Relations and Press Department of the Police, said.

On July 27 gunmen Gagik Yeghiazaryan and Aram Hakobyan were surrendered to the law enforcement agencies in the Police Patrol Station. A firefight took place as a result of which one of the law enforcement agencies, as well as Pavlik Manukyan and his son Aram were wounded. All the three were immediately taken to hospital. The shooting stopped, and negotiations are being held to complete the gunmen’s surrendering process.

In the morning of July 27 the gunmen took the doctors hostage who came to the Police station to show medical assistance to the wounded gunmen.
