YEREVAN, JULY 27, ARMENPRESS. Two wounded gunmen Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram currently undergo a surgery. Ashot Aharonyan, head of the Public Relations and Press Department of the Police, calls to refrain from spreading unverified information, reports “Armenpress”.

Pavel Manukyan’s and his son’s lives are not in danger. 

Two more gunmen of the armed group that have seized the Patrol Police station in Yerevan on July 17, Gagik Yeghiazaryan and Aram Hakobyan, surrendered to law enforcement authorities. There was a firefight which resulted in the injured law enforcement officer, and a member of the armed group Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram. All three were immediately transported to the hospital. Currently firing stopped and negotiations on the process of surrender of other gunmen are coming to the end. There were false information among the rally participants in Khorenatsi Street who said Pavel Manukyan died.

According to the data by the law enforcement agencies two more wounded gunmen are in the seized Police precinct. Negotiations are being held, the law enforcement agencies are trying to convince them to show medical assistance, but the friends of the wounded gunmen do not accept it.
