Magnitude 4 earthquake occurs on Armenian-Georgian border

YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. The Seismic Protection Service of the Seismological Network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia recorded magnitude 4 earthquake at 19:17, July 21 on Armenian-Georgian border, 18 kms north-west from Dmanisi.
Magnitude 5-6 was recorded in the epicenter.
The hypocenter of the earthquake is 12 kms underground.
As “Armenpress” was informed from the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, magnitude 3-4 earthquake was felt in the northern part of Armenia, particularly in Stepanavan, Tashir, Alaverdi and Vanadzor cities, as well as in the villages of Bavra and Sizavet.
