YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received US Congressman Jim Costa on July 21. The President of the Republic greeted the guest and highlighted the visit of Congressman Costa to Armenia, stating that inter-parliamentary relations have a vital role in reinforcing inter-state friendly relations.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Armenian President’s Office, the interlocutors touched upon the agenda of Armenian-American relations, including the efforts made for developing economic cooperation. They talked about issues of the future, as well as exchanged ideas over Armenia’s relations with regional countries and the negotiation process of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.

President Serzh Sargsyan and US Congressman Jim Costa shared the opinion that Armenian-American current relations are on the peak and political dialogue between the states is permanent and effective.
