YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS. On July 14 President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Armenia Georgi Karastamatov whose diplomatic mission comes to its end in our country, press service of the Presidential administration informed “Armenpress”.

The Armenian President expressed gratitude to the Bulgarian Ambassador for his personal input on the consistent development of the Armenian-Bulgarian relations and said in recent years the political dialogue between the two states has been intensified which serves as a strong base and a guarantee for the development and strengthening of the inter-governmental relations in all spheres. Serzh Sargsyan expressed hope the next Ambassador of Bulgaria will also make efforts to deepen the relations of the two friendly states and to develop mutually beneficial cooperation at several directions. The Armenian President wished success to the Bulgarian Ambassador in his future activities.

Ambassador Karastamatov expressed gratitude to the Armenian President for highly appreciating his activity, as well as for the support provided during his diplomatic mission in Armenia. He ensured that he leaves Armenia with warm memories and impressions always remaining a friend of Armenia and the Armenian people.
