STEPANAKERT, JULY 12, ARMENPRESS. Before starting official meetings Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov, who is in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) on a working visit, visited the military positions of a Defense Army regiment on July 12.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Republican Party (RPA), Sharmazanov familiarized himself with the living conditions of the servicemen, the peculiarities of military duty and the overall situation. In the words of the parliament’s Vice President, each similar visit gives reasons for pondering, while meeting with soldiers is rather encouraging.

“State officials have to visit military positions more often, where we gain more vigor and relize that we have no right to be mistaken”, he said.

The Vice President of the National Assembly reconfirmed his announcement on the borders of Artsakh that the independence of Artsakh is not subject to any discussions and the fate of Artsakh can be decided only by the Armenian people of Artsakh. “There can be no unilateral concessions, while mutual concessions can only take place if they are reasonable”, Sharmazanov stated.
