YEREVAN, MAY 18, ARMENPRESS. "Armenpress" news agency presents the upcoming news for 18.05.2016.

The meeting in Vienna are at the center of discussion within political analysts. Today on May 18, political scientists Alexander Manasyan, Sergey Minasyan, Director of the International Secretariat of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau Giro Manoyan, MP Khosrov Harutyunyan and other figures will speak about the Armenian President’s visit to Vienna, the meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the joint statement by the OSCE Minsk Group.

Armenian and Russian experts will try to analyze the issue whether after Armenia other regional countries can become potential member states of the EAEU. They will speak about whether this scenario will reduce contradictions and will alleviate the escalation of the problems in the region.

President of the Union of Domestic Manufacturers Vazgen Safaryan will present his views about the economic priorities of Armenia in the context of the consequences of the April war. He will analyze the statement by the Prime Minister which says there is a need to increase the efficiency of the state budget expenditure.

Today the members of “For the Law” coordinating group Arman Ghukasyan, Tsovinar Kostanyan and Domestic Manufacturers will meet the journalists and will present the response of the Minister of Economy to the initiators of the protest who were against the Turkish products. We would like to recall that there were different opinions over the protest against the Turkish products. Some of them were against the Turkish products, and some of the people said there should be an alternative in order to refuse from the Turkish products. The protesters will present their future plans.

May 18 is the International Day of Museums. Today the museums of Armenia and the Nagorno Karabakh will be opened for visitors at 10:00 to 18:00 with free of charge. More than 100 museums will present new projects and interesting ceremonies. The Museums will also be opened on May 21 during the event of the Museums night.
