YEREVAN, MARCH 3, ARMENPRESS. “Armenpress” state news agency introduces on the air of Lratvakan.am all that you will read, hear and see on today’s news.

Today, on March 3, media is rather saturated with news. Debates, meetings, sessions and exhibitions are planned for today. Start with the Government. Today is the regular session of the Executive. There is no shortage of issues on the agenda of the session. The Government will define the description of aircrew uniform and will approve the program of setting new robotics clubs. It will also make a decision that the state will continue subsidizing agricultural credits.

What level are Armenia-NATO relations on? What kind of perspectives and challenges exists ahead of NATO summit in Warsaw? These and other issues will be touched upon in a seminar held in Yerevan.  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to the Republic of Armenia Jerzy Marek Novakovski, NATO official Steffen Elgersma, Armenian analysts and experts are the participants of the seminar.

Debates on the changes in the electoral code of Armenia are underway. This time MP Gagik Minasyan will speak about the mechanisms of electronic voting system and other priorities.

The issue of fish production will be illustrated by Arthur Atoyan, President of the Association of Armenian Fish Producers and Exporters and pisciculturists.

Economic theme will continue but with emphasis on tourism. Chairman of the “Preservation and Development ofArmenian Culinary Traditions” NGO Sedrak Mamulyan and Director of “RUMEA Tempting Trips Club” Ruben Grigoryan will speak about development prospects of Armenian tourism.

Who are the most active MPs and who are the most passive one? Which MPs were absent most of all? The results of “NA monitoring” of the National Assembly 8th session will be publicized.

March 3 is the International Day of Writers. The present and the future of the Armenian literature, contemporary writers and the demands of readers.  Literary critic Hasmik Hakobyan, writer and script-writer Vahram Martirosyan and writer and translator Arthur Mesropyan will introduce their remarks on the theme.

March 3 is also World Hearing Day. What social and moral issues face people suffering hearing impairments? What kind of support does the state render to them? Ashot Avetisyan, director of Yerevan special school for children with hearing disabilities and sign language interpreter Zubaydah Melikyan will speak about the topic.

In addition to the abovementioned days, March 3 will also soon be celebrated in Armenia as the Day of Entrepreneurship. The decision of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia will be publicized by which the businessmen will apply to the Government for declaring March 3 as the Day of Entrepreneurship. The decision will be publicized after the Divine Liturgy is delivered for the first time in memory of great benefactor Alexander Mantashyants.

A number of events will be organized in Argavand’s St. Sargis Church on the occasion of Mid-Lent.
