Ruben Safrastyan: What happened in Ankara is the result of Erdoğan’s dangerous policy

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. The incident in Turkey is painful and condemnable reality but the mentioned above is the result of dangerous policy which Erdoğan pursues, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Ruben Safrastyan mentioned in the interview with “Armenpress” commenting on February 17 terrorism in Ankara.

“Erdoğan pursues dangerous policy both in internal and foreign directions. Turkey's foreign policy has become a serious problem for the countries of the region, neighbors, and, eventually for themselves. We saw what happened in the country before the elections. Erdoğan’s regime deliberately aggravated relations with Kurds. Overall, we can say that Erdoğan’s such adventurous, dangerous domestic and foreign policy brings to the mentioned painful results,” Ruben Safrastyan said not excluding that Erdoğan can use the created situation to solve the issues related to Kurds.

Powerful explosion occurred in Turkish capital of Ankara. At least 28 died and 61 were injured during the blast. World leaders condemned terrorism in Turkey’s capital Ankara.
