NA Vice President considers discussions of Constitutional reforms at National Assembly as unprecedented
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. The Vice President of the National Assembly, Eduard Sharmazanov, notes that the discussions of the Constitutional reforms at the National Assembly were held in a constructive atmosphere. Giving a speech at the parliament, the NA Vice President emphasized that the discussion was unprecedented in the history of Armenian parliamentarism.
“55 questions were raised during the discussion, over 50 speeches were given. I cannot memorize a single issue at the NA for which over 50 speeches were given, which were mainly constructive and with no insults. With some exceptions aside, we had a substantive discussion. The multilateral discussions with the participation of all the parties showed that the Constitutional reform is the first issue on our domestic political agenda”, “Armenpress” reports, Sharmazanov mentioned.
The NA Vice President expressed a special gratitude to the leadership of the Public TV for granting the audience, particularly those living in remote areas, with an opportunity to follow the discussions.
