Shirak Governor emphasized in his speech that the opening of the “Hill of Honor” monument could really be considered a historical event. “This monument reopened 5 years ago, on August 20. The Presidents of the RF and the Republic of Armenia attended the solemn opening ceremony. This event further deepened the centuries-old Armenian-Russian friendship. The reopening of the monument was another proof that “our nations remember and incense their sons” who died for the sake of freedom. Today, after 5 years, we are here to keep their memory alive and once again thank those who spared no efforts to reconstruct the complex”, Feliks Tsolakyan mentioned.
