YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. With the initiative of Composers’ Union of Armenia and supported by the Ministry of Culture on September 9-13 will be held the Second Chamber Music Festival of Young Composers, during which will sound the works of 26 authors. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Composers’ Union of Armenia the three concerts will take place at Composers’ Union hall (25 Demirchyan st., Yerevan). The beginning is at 19:00.

As Aram Satian, the chairman of Composers’ Union of Armenia and the Honored Worker of Art of the Republic of Armenia says, the young people should always be given a chance to present their capabilities.  “This is a great occasion to gather under the united musical roof once again, which will pave the way for young composers to strengthen the relations between them and music lovers”.

The festival that has already become a good tradition will be unique, as during these days will be performed the works of Armenian composers, that have won in various prestigious competitions. Note, that the concert admission is free. “Armenpress” is the information sponsor of the festival.
