YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS.  100% shares of “Hayfilm studio” closed joint-stock company estimated at 2 billion 702 million and 469 thousand drams, will be returned to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.  “Armenpress” reports that the draft decision was confirmed at the session of the Government.

Head of State Property Management Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Sahakyan, mentioned that on March 31 of the current year the Director General of “Hayfilm studio” CJSC Kh. Tsokolakyan applied to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia announcing that according to the September 14, 2005 agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and “Hayfilm studio” CJSC, the company has made the investments required by the agreement. “Tsokolokyan suggested to return the shares of “Hayfilm” to the state, asking to abolish the September 14, 2005 agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and “Hayfilm studio” CJSC and to remunerate the amount initially invested in the company by the shareholders of “Hayfilm””, Sahakyan said.

Recognizing as basis the written suggestions of the Director General of “Hayfilm studio” CJSC, a draft decision about the revocation of September 14, 2005 agreement number 727-A was elaborated.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of the Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, assigned the Property Management Department to be attentive during the process of handing the film studio over.
