YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS. The male and female winners of golf competitions of pan-Armenian games are known.

Nushik gevorgyan from Yerevan was the best among the females. Araks Zararyan from Stepanakert was the second, and Anahit Ghazaryan from the German Cologne city was the third. Jim Lilie from Nicosia became the winner of the male golf competition. Hamazasp Khazaryan (Germany) and Daniel Ketchyan shared the second and third places respectively.

Araks Zargaryan assured that Artsakh is a part of Armenia and said, “Golf is a young sport in Armenia, but has a great future. I participate in pan-Armenian games for the first time. The coincidence of these games with the 100^th anniversary f the Armenian Genocide must unite all of us”.

The winner of the male competition Jum Lilie promised to return to Armenia again as he liked Yerevan very much. “This is my second visit to Armenia. I was here 9 years ago. This is a country with wonderful people and unique nature”, he said.

21 participants from 11 countries participated in the golf competition of the pan-Armenian games. There was no age limit for the participants. The youngest one was 13 years old, the oldest was 63.
