YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Republic of Armenia held a regular coordinating consultation, headed by the Minister Armen Ashotyan. The consultation was attended by the heads of the Ministry’s departments.

Armenpress was informed by the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Republic of Armenia that Armen Ashotyan instructed to pay a special attention to the preparatory works of the new educational year of the schools in the border villages, stressing that some target programs should be implemented in this direction.

Armen Ashotyan drew the attention of the meeting’s participants to the issue of the Armenian schools in Georgia, where, according to the Minister, some issues have raised, particularly, connected with the textbooks. Ashotyan informed that he reached an agreement with his Georgian colleague on the solution of some issues.
