YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s National Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Eduard Topchjan will give a concert in Beirut on August 8 during one of the Lebanon’s famous cultural events - the Beiteddine Art Festival. The concert will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

The concert participants will also include the State Chamber Choir of Armenia and ‘Hover’ State Chamber Choir. The conductor of the concert will be Eduard Topchjan - the principal conductor and artistic director of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.

During his interview with Armenpress Maestro Eduard Topchjan said that the event held in the capital of Lebanon is one of the greatest cultural festivals.

The concert will feature the suite from Aram Khachaturian’s Spartacus ballet, Brahms’s violin concerto, and Mozart’s Requiem.

Soprano Irina Zakyan, tenor Perch Karazyan, mezzo-soprano Narine Ananikyan, and baritone Sargis Bazhbeuk-Melikyan will take part in the concert. The world-renowned violinist Sergey Khachatryan’s participation will turn the Beirut concert into a memorable event.
