The Gavar Geological Museum to be enriched by materials about genocide survived family

GAVAR, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS. The corner-exhibition of the Armenian Genocide survivors opened at the Gavar Geological Museum caused new followers to come forward with proposals to enrich the exhibition with new materials. As the Director of the Gavar Geological Museum Byureghik Hoveyan informed “Armenpress”, photos and printed materials of 22 families that had found shelter in Gavar city were exhibited at the museum in April of this year. After, a number of other families came out and announced about their readiness to enrich the newly opened exhibition by new materials. “The first of them is Garnik Margaryan who is a dweller of Lchashen village of Gegharkunik Province. According to him, he is a descendant of Eranuhi Karapetyan from Van, who migrated to Adana in 1915 and from there to Echmiadzin, then domiciled in Lchashen. Soon he will present the story of his parents and relevant materials to the museum”, the director of the museum mentioned.
