YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS. Armen Ashotyan, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia met with Traian Hristea, the ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, who completes his diplomatic mission to our country.

As Armenpress was informed from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, Ashotyan thanked the head of EU delegation for the work done in Armenia during his diplomatic mission and the realization of projects in education and science spheres. Stating that the cooperation with EU was effective, Armen Ashotyan stressed the importance of supporting the reforms in higher and vocational education. 

During the meeting a reference was made to a range of projects realized by EU, in particular; “Erasmus +”, “Horizon 20-20”, “Twinning”. The sides expressed their confidence that Armenia’s active participation in all the projects will be continuous.

At the end of the meeting Traian Hristea was awarded a letter of appreciation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia by Minister Armen Ashotyan.
