YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Galust Sahakyan met the participants of the “Diaspora” summer school on July 24.

Minister of Diaspora Hranush Halobyan was present at the meeting.  The participants were Diaspora Armenian schools teachers, heads cultural clubs, journalists and representatives of youth organizations. As «Armenpress» was informed from the Public Relations and Media Department of the NA Staff, the NA Speaker, welcoming the participants of the “Diaspora” summer school at the National Assembly, highlighted their visit to motherland, parliament and mentioned that he has been interacting with the participants of the summer school with great pleasure for years.

Galust Sahakyan, welcoming the initiative of the Ministry of Diaspora, emphasized the role of Diaspora Armenian schools teachers for the preservation of the Armenian identity.

Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia urged the teachers of the “Diaspora” summer school to continue their work aimed to preserving the national identity with more enthusiasm.

At the end of the meeting Galust Sahakyan answered the question of the Diaspora teachers and journalists with pleasure.
