YEREVAN, JULY 16, ARMENPRESS. Iraqi forces liberated two regions on July 16 in the framework of Anbar liberation activities. As “Armenpress” reports, citing Arabic media, the united forces of Iraq liberated Mammal Salj region which is located in the eastern part of Anbar Province.  During the clashes seven terrorists were killed among which two suicide-bombers. Three vehicles were also destroyed.

Village Muhamida is liberated which is located in North of Fallujah, 15 terrorists are killed.

According to the information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Iraq, in the western part of Anbar more than 70 terrorists among which 2 leaders have been killed as a result of air attacks.

Earlier, on July 13, the Command of Iraqi Army had declared about the start of liberation operations of Anbar Province.

The IS controls 80 percent of the province.
