First 11 specialists of Education management enter Armenian market with high demand

YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. Eleven graduates of Armenian State Pedagogical University after KH. Abovyan specializing in “Education management” receive graduation certificates. During the interview with “Armenpress” at the solemn ceremony of diploma giving the chair of Education management Rita Gevorgyan mentioned that the master program launched in 2013 taking into account the demand in the highest educational system. “The program is implemented in the collaboration with European and regional partners. There is one aim: to prepare specialists who not only with their knowledge but also capabilities will foster the amendments in the sphere. Training of professors took place in the framework of the educational program; of course I also give importance to the students exchange programs. We gave them an opportunity to go to universities of London and get acquainted to the similar programs there”, said Rita Gevorgyan.

Astghik Petrosyan, who is one of the first graduates of the program, decided to choose this specialization taking into consideration the demand in such specialists. “This program did not exist in Armenia, while there was demand. I think, it is a good program”, she said. The overwhelming majority of her peers are already employed and all of them work in the field of their specialization, which is very important. “We were mainly lectured by invited professors, chairs of departments. There were exchange programs, the best two students were sent to England and five more to Georgia for a two-week training. We got training about our thesis in different departments there”, informed Astghik Petrosyan.
