YEREVAN, JULY 2, ARMENPRESS. A press conference was held on July 1 in the hall of Cilicia Museum at the Antilias Cathedral in the presence of journalists from Armenia and Lebanon. The press conference was held by the Press Office of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia with the aim of informing the public of the developments surrounding the action brought by the Catholicosate in the Constitutional Court of Turkey for restitution of the Great House of Cilicia in Sis, a message on the official website of the Catholicosate reads.  Senior Archimandrite Husik Martirosyan from the Press Office of the Catholicosate presented the panelists - Cem Sofuoglu, responsible for church properties, Taner Akçam, specialist of Armenian Genocide, and Nora Bayragtyan, lecturer at the University of Lebanon.
Nora Bayragtyan spoke about the steps for bringing an action for restitution of the Great House of Cilicia in Sis. She stressed the importance of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia to Armenians, adding that the Constitutional Court of Turkey has 90 days at most to consider the case. Failing this, the case will be taken to the European Court of Human Rights.
