YEREVAN, JULY 2, ARMENPRESS: Armenia and Belarus are the only countries, which get up-to-date military equipment from Russia for factory prices. The Chairman of the Standing Commission for Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Minasyan stated about it at the discussion of the agreement, held at the National Assembly, on “Allocation of state export loan to the Government of the Republic of Armenia”, signed on June 26 2015 in Yerevan between the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia.

“We are discussing quite an important loan agreement and I would like to especially stress the fact that the money, defined by the agreement, with which we purchase modern military equipment from Russia, will be directed to the enterprise, producing that equipment. We have already said that besides Armenia, it is only Belarus purchasing modern military equipment from Russia for factory prices. This agreement allows Armenia to get the military equipment from Russia”, - stated Minasyan, Armenpress reports.
