Ismet Yilmaz new speaker of Turkish parliament

YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS. Ismet Yilmaz, the candidate from the ruling Justice and Development Party, was elected Speaker of the Turkish Parliament after a fourth round of elections.
No candidate got the required number of votes in the third round of elections, the Turkish Cumhuriyet, which was broadcasting live pictures of the elections, writes.
Ismet Yilmaz from the ruling Justice and Development Party faced off with Deniz Baykal from the main opposition Popular Republican Party in the fourth round of elections. Yilmaz got 258 votes, while Baykal only 182.
