UN Human Rights Council approves report on Armenia

YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS: During its 29th session held in Geneva, the UN Human Rights Council approved the second report on Armenia in the framework of the universal periodic review process. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the Armenian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Hovakimyan.  
The discussion of the report passed in the atmosphere of a constructive dialogue. The head of the Armenian delegation provided thorough information about the developments in the human rights sector during the recent months, as well as the further steps of the Government in the context of the given recommendations.
