Swedish Parliament's Vice Speaker presents her Armenian Genocide-survived grandma’s
story

YEREVAN, 23 APRIL, ARMENPRESS: The Third Vice Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Esabelle Dingizian is the granddaughter of the Armenian Genocide survivor. She was named after her grandma, who at the age of 12 lost the members of her family, saved in the desert and appeared in one of the Baghdad’s orphanages. Armenpress reports that at the social and political global forum “Against the Crime of Genocide” Dingizian told that these memories cannot ever die and the generations of the Armenian Genocide survivors do not have the right to forget their history. And the civilized world as well should not forget about these events.

“Our responsibility is to work against the regimes, which justify the political slaughter in the name of the political faith. After all, what happened in 1939? Hitler called on his generals not to show mercy towards the Jews, stating that nobody remembers about the genocide of the Armenians. We should fight against this denial”, - she stated.
