YEREVAN, 13 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has sparked the most interest on Google Search this past week than it has since 2004. This is whatinformation security expert Samvel Martirosyan told “Armenpress”.

“There is unprecedented interest in Armenia. Nobody had probably searched the word “Armenia” on search engines this much in history. Besides that, there was a tremendous amount of materials advertising Armenia as a touristic country in the foreign presses,” Samvel Martirosyan said as he touched upon the amount of information about Armenia following the Kardashians’ visit to Armenia.

However, Samvel Martirosyan says the Kardashians’ visit to Armenia was not the only reason for more interest in Armenia on the Internet. “The announcement of the Pope of Rome also sparked interest in Armenia, and it’s even hard to say which had a greater impact,” the expert mentioned.
