Iran’s earthquake shakes Armenia’s Meghri

YEREVAN, MARCH 3, ARMENPRESS: The Seismological Network of Seismic Protection Service registered a 3.4 magnitude earthquake on March 2 at about 23:09 local time at the northern latitude 38.40° and eastern longitude 46.47° geographic coordinates, with 10 kilometers depth. The magnitude was measured 4-5 points at the epicenter (Islamic Republic of Iran).
The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the earthquake was registered also in the territory of Armenia, especially in the city of Meghri of Syunik Region, with 2-3 points magnitude. No casualties or destructions were registered.
