Joining EEU Armenia will improve economic indicators: Putin

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS: Two years after joining the Eurasian Economic Union Armenia will considerably improve the indicators in microeconomy. The trade turnover of Armenia with Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus will significantly develop. Armenpress reports that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin stated about it at the session of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, held in Minsk.
“We think that Armenia is ready to equally cooperate with Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. Since the autumn 2013, in this short period, our Armenian partners have continued the economic reforms, meeting the general standards and made the national legislation correspondent to the norms of our integration union.
We hope that two years after joining the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia will considerably improve the indicators in microeconomy. The trade turnover of Armenia with Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus has already registered growth, having increased by 10% annually”.
