STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS. Based on the official data of the Ministry of Defense about the events on the border, the Azerbaijani propaganda machine continues to "feed" the public with distorted information, which has no relation to the reality.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the NKR Ministry of Defense, on August 6, this statement was made by the Defense Ministry.  

"It specifically refers to the number of losses of the Azerbaijani army in the recent clashes on the Line of Contact, that deliberately or due to ignorance of simple arithmetic calculations, Baku continues to present the unlucky number 13.  Meanwhile, from July 28 to August 5, in the conflict zone 13 cases of collision occurred, of which only during the clash of August 1-2, the Azerbaijani propaganda first reported about 9 killed and 7 injured, then - 11 killed and 5 injured, and by the end of the day - already 13 victims...

A question arises - and what happened to the losses of the Azerbaijani side in the remaining 12 cases of collision? ... Where are the 3 dead and 4 wounded of the Azerbaijani army, as a result of the preventive operation of the NKR Defense Army in the direction of Martuni, in the same night of August 1-2, about which the same propaganda machine of Baku admitted in its official release of August 2.

Or why does Azerbaijan "forget" to add to the favorite number 13 the numbers of 6 killed and 7 injured, in the result of intelligence and sabotage attacks in the direction of Martakert in the night of August 1-2, about which it was reported in the Azerbaijani media...

These questions can be continued, referring to the actual statistics of Azerbaijani losses in the remaining 10 cases...

It is strange that Baku’s “agitprop”, through its propaganda media, reports almost daily about its own losses during the Azerbaijani-Karabakh clashes, but for some reason this unfortunate number of victims – 13, remains unchanged and fixed. Maybe, the Azerbaijani propaganda has entered a new stage of tactics, aimed at trying to hide the helplessness of the “most powerful” army in the region, by fooling its own public," reads the statement of the NKR Defense Army.
