In 2013 South Caucasus Railway significantly increased the level of efficiency of freight cars and locomotive.

As Armenpess reports, according to recent statistics SCR car turnover compared to the same period in 2012 accelerated to 0.2 days or 6.7 %. On average one car was in circulation during 3 days.

Average daily productivity of one car reached 4995 net tkm/wagon, which is 10.6 % more than in 2012.

Performance of the locomotive fleet also improved. In particular, the average mileage of one locomotive was 394 loc/km, which is higher than in 2012 by 7.7%.

The Company achieved such results due to its policy of railway infrastructure and traction-rolling stock improvement on the basis of comprehensive measures to ensure traffic safety.
