Eliza Khachatryan becomes winner of World Festival of Circus Art

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Eliza Khachatryan representing Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard (Russia) was declared the winner of The World Festival of Circus Art "IDOL" for her ballet variations on the rope.  As reports "Armenpress" citing ITAR-TASS, the award giving solemn ceremony was held at the Great Moscow State Circus at Vernadsky Avenue on October 13.

The participants of the Festival were the legends of the world circus and young talented artists, who were chosen by the Selection commission of the Festival. The organizers of the Festival submited to the International jury the collection of the best circus acts and attractions from all over the world.

The Russian State Circus Company and the Great Moscow State Circus at Vernadsky Avenue from the 11 to 20 October, 2013, held a common project – The World Festival of Circus Art "IDOL".

The venue place of the Festival was an arena of the one of the biggest circuses in the world – the Great Moscow State Circus at Vernadsky Avenue.

Directors of the circuses, presidents of the international circus festivals, impresarios and circus artists from all over the world came to Moscow to take part in this grandiose cultural event.

Three independent International juries assessed the performances of the competitors: audience, the representatives of the mass-media and professionals of the circus art. After the competitions programs, each jury awarded their prizes for the winners of the Festival (1,2,3 medal places).
