Armenia implements technological instruments on a larger scale: Karen Vardanyan
17:03, 21 June 2013YEREVAN, JUNE 21, ARMENPRESS. The volume of consumption of Armenia's IT production has been palpably increased in the domestic market. As reports "Armenpress" the Executive Director of Union of IT Enterprises (UITE) Karen Vardanyan stated this at the opening of DigiTec Business Forum.
Among other things the Executive Director of Union of IT Enterprises (UITE) Karen Vardanyan noted that if 6 year ago 80 percent of IT production was exported and the rest was consumed in the domestic market, than today we export 60 percent and 40 percent remains for the consumption in the domestic market.
The objective of 6th annual DigiTec Business Forum is to promote the creation of ICT enabled Innovative Economy. Best local and international practices, involvement of representatives from state and private sectors, international and donor organizations, working to enhance innovative economies, key international speakers and experts ensure the best environment for exhibiting and sharing ideas on innovative development and Smart Country profiles.
