Safarov scandal in Orban Government

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: The Hungarian opposition arouse a «Safarov» scandal in the country. It is accepted as well even at the Government of Viktor Orban, which implemented the Hungarian-Azerbaijani criminal deal. The Spokesman of the Hungarian Government Giro Andras gave an interview on the Safarov's issue, during which he answered the journalists' questions with some reserves and sometimes even avoided the questions on the Hungarian Government's guilt in extradition of the Azerbaijani assassin to Azerbaijan.

As reported by Armenpress, quoting the Hungarian nol.hu website, to the observation, that the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban confessed that the Safarov's extradition was implemented by his decree, the Spokesman of the Hungarian Government answered: «I understand why you raise this question. The announcements spread by the opposition should have influenced on the Safarov's scandal. I should say that in case of a general decision adopted by the Government, correspondent ministries present corresponding legal opinions and then the Government makes it decree, which generally depends on the Prime Minister's position».

«After the Azerbaijan's written guarantees, when the extradition was implemented, does it  happen to be that the Azerbaijani Government lied to the Hungarian Government?» To the journalist's question Giro Andras answered that the diplomacy within the framework of this action is obviously on another platform. To the question did not Azerbaijan buy state bonds from Hungary, Andras answered that there was not even talks on that and it did not correspond to the reality.

During the interview the Spokesman of the Hungarian Government Giro Andras once again stated that in the extradition processes Hungary acted in correspondence with the international rights norms.
