No foul play behind brief social media blackout in Nagorno Karabakh, claims telecom provider
13:22, 19 May 2023STEPANAKERT, MAY 19, ARMENPRESS. The May 18 social media blackout in Nagorno Karabakh/Artsakh was caused by “an exclusively technical problem,” Karabakh Telecom told ARMENPRESS.
Nagorno Karabakh lost access to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp on May 18.
Karabakh Telecom Chief Coordinator for Marketing and Communications Egnara Gabrielyan told ARMENPRESS that access has been restored.
“Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were inaccessible in Artsakh on May 18 because of exclusively technical problem at the provider,” she said.
