Investigation underway to reveal cause of light aircraft crash in Jraber village
11:39, 2 December 2022YEREVAN, DECEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. The Kotayk Department of the Investigative Committee launched an investigation to reveal the cause of the B55 light aircraft crash in the village of Jraber on December 1.
The crash killed two persons on board, the only occupants of the plane.
The B-55 crashed around 14:00, December 1 in the territory of a sand mine in Jraber village, Kotayk province.
First-responders found the two charred bodies near the wreckage. The bodies are now undergoing forensic examination.
Investigators requested the Civil Aviation Committee to provide information on the aircraft, the pilot and the passenger, when the aircraft entered Armenia and other data.
The cause of crash is under investigation.
