Artsakh to become fully self-sufficient with construction of Getavan HPP
14:01, 23 November 2022STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. Artsakh is carrying out active construction work for building the 17MW Getavan hydro power plant, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan told lawmakers on November 23.
The construction is carried out with government funding.
“If the financial resources are sufficient enough we plan to complete the construction next year, if not we will definitely complete it in 2024,” the president said.
The president said that Getavan HPP will ensure full energy self-sufficiency of Artsakh.
