Italian Embassy in Yerevan has organised a number of events in the frameworks of the Italian Week of Cuisine
On 14-18 November 2022 the Italian Embassy in Yerevan has organised a number of events in the frameworks of the initiative of the Italian Week of Cuisine, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The Embassy, together with local partners and the esteemed “Ancel Keys Institute” from Salerno, in Italy, has launched a promotion targeted at the idea of the “Mediterranean Diet”, as a culinary tradition rooted in sustainability and health values. In the last event of the Italian Week, the representatives of the “Ancel Keys”, together with H.E. Ambassador Alfonso Di Riso, have presented the conference “Ancel Keys and the Mediterranean Diet” at the Yerevan Grand Hotel, which was attended by the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, H.E. Alen Simonyan, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, H.E. Paruyr Hovhannisyan, the Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia, Mr. Martin Galstyan, together with other guests from the business and culture world. The conference also recalled the special characteristics of Rome as candidate to EXPO 2030.
