YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. According to the decision of the Government, a relevant commission was established, which is working in the direction of receiving and finding information about the 25 servicemen who went missing as a result of the aggression of Azerbaijan on September 13, ARMENPRESS reports, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Edward Asryan, said in a briefing with journalists.

He said that according to the latest information, 10 bodies have been returned, and the number of missing persons may be reduced as a result of DNA testing.

The Chief of the General Staff also mentioned that Azerbaijan still prevents the search operations to be carried out on the front line to find the bodies of the dead Armenian servicemen.

"I can state that the Azerbaijani side did not give the appropriate permission for our divisions to enter and conduct search operations.

Yes, there is a case in the Kutakan area that we observed with our drone that the body of our serviceman was in the vicinity of the adversary’s position. The adversary does not give permission to enter there," said Asryan.
