YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS. US State Department representative Ned Price called for a full and impartial investigation into the execution of Armenian prisoners by Azerbaijani soldiers.

"The United States is deeply troubled by recent reports that Azerbaijani soldiers are executing unarmed Armenian prisoners. We call for a full and impartial investigation. Those responsible for each atrocity must be brought to justice," ARMENPRESS reports, Price wrote on his Twitter page.

On October 2, a footage was published on the Azerbaijani telegram channels, in which it was seen how the Azerbaijani soldiers brutally shoot the captured Armenian soldiers at the Armenian military position.

Toivo Klaar, the special representative of the European Union in the South Caucasus, stated that if the authenticity of the video is confirmed, then it is a war crime that should be investigated.

Armenian human rights defender Kristine Grigoryan stated that the killing of Armenian prisoners of war by the Azerbaijani military took place on September 13, during the large-scale attack of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Armenia.
