YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Artsakh’s Defense Army is neutralizing the Azerbaijani attacks with “powerful blows”, President Arayik Harutyunyan’s spokesperson Vahram Poghosyan said.

“The situation is fully under the President’s supervision. We advise the population to remain calm and stay in bomb shelters. The ballets continue at the entire length of the line of contact. The Defense Army is stopping the adversary actions with powerful blows,” he said.

On early Sunday morning the Azerbaijani military launched a massive cross border artillery attack on Artsakh. The Azerbaijani bombardment also targeted civilian settlements, including Stepanakert city.

Earlier the military said that Artsakh’s army shot down two attacking Azerbaijani helicopters, three UAVs, and three tanks.
