Armenian FM in constant touch with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is in constant touch with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan said.

On September 27 early morning the Azerbaijani military has launched a massive cross-border artillery attack on Artsakh, including on civilian settlements. Peaceful settlements are also under bombardment, including the capital city of Stepanakert. The population of Artsakh was advised to seek shelter. Official Stepanakert announced that “the response will be proportionate and the entire responsibility of the situation falls on Azerbaijan’s military-political leadership and personally Ilham Aliyev”.

The Armenian side shot down two Azerbaijani helicopters and three UAVs.

Clashes continue along the entire length of the line of contact.

The Defense Army of Artsakh is neutralizing the Azerbaijani attacks.

In a statement Armenia’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the aggression of the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan against Artsakh. The Armenian sides will act confidently with all their capacities to ensure the security of the people of Artsakh and to deliver appropriate military and political response. The military-political leadership of Azerbaijan bears full responsibility for the consequences of their aggression”, the statement says.
