Azerbaijan loses 2 helicopters, 3 tanks, 3 UAVs amid ongoing attack on Artsakh

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani attacking forces have been repelled by the Artsakh Defense Army in several directions, Armenian defense ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said.

“As Defense Army Commander Major General Jalal Harutyunyan earlier said, the Azerbaijani troops launched an offensive at the entire length of the line of contact at 07:10. The Azerbaijani troops’ attacks in several directions have been repelled. The adversary has suffered manpower and equipment loses, namely three tanks. The battles continue,” she said.

Earlier Stepanyan said that Artsakh’s military shot down two attacking Azerbaijani helicopters and three UAVs.

On early Sunday morning the Azerbaijani military launched a massive cross border artillery attack on Artsakh. The Azerbaijani bombardment also targeted civilian settlements, including Stepanakert city.
