YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Chief Military Inspector Movses Hakobyan’s and his deputies’ sackings are due to structural changes, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s spokesperson Vladimir Karapetyan told ARMENPRESS.

“Structural changes have taken place as a result of legislative amendments, according to which the Chief Military Inspectorate has been re-organized into the Oversight Service of the Ministry of Defense,” he said.

Earlier today PM Pashinyan relieved Chief Military Inspector Movses Hakobyan from office. Hakobyan’s two deputies were also sacked.
