YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Shortly after the National Security Service announced it is investigating what is described to be an illegal scheme of child adoption by foreigners, Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan commented on the matter noting that the establishment of the rule of law must take place in all sectors and the government’s efforts in this direction are irreversible.

“The government’s efforts in this direction are infrangible especially in such a delicate area relating to children, where we must be more alert for protecting the child’s best interests. Any medical facility or medic who has been or will be involved in such schemes must be held to account with the entire power of the law,” he said.

Torosyan also thanked the NSS for revealing the scheme and expressed certainty that everything will be completely uncovered.
