YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has numerous issues of dialogue agenda with the United States, which relate to the region, the regional security, the bilateral relations and the constant US aid provided to the country, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters at a briefing.

One of the journalists asked when a meeting between the leaders of the US and Armenia is expected. “Currently we are concentrated on the upcoming visit, after that we will be able to see the next step. It’s very important for us to pass this stage and then we will plan. If I say that now we immediately see the next step for the meeting at the leaders level, it will not be right. We all are concentrated on the issue of Pashinyan-Trump meeting which will take place anyway. But I want to state once more that we have a very broad agenda of dialogue with the United States”, the FM said.

He added that recently a visit at the defense level took place, another meeting is expected in New York at the highest level. “This is very important for us”, he said, adding that the US is a very important partner for Armenia.

The FM said the US assistance both in political and financial terms is very important for Armenia.
