GYUMRI, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s second largest city Gyumri is preparing for the Independence Day celebrations.

Some streets in the city are already closed.

On September 21 various events will take place in the city, starting from concerts up to exhibitions of works of painters of the city.

All museums in the city will be open on Independence Day.

The festive day will end with a gala-concert which will start at 19:00 in Gyumri’s Vardanants Square. Armenian, foreign musicians, including the German Dole & Kom band, the American Capital Cities, will perform during the concert.

This year the main celebrations of Armenia’s Independence Day will take place in Gyumri.
