The PM also appointed Deputy Police Chief of Armenia Arman Sargsyan to serve as interim Police Chief.

“Let me inform that this is a status defined under Armenian legislation and our colleagues in this status have full authority to lead the two systems. I would like to wish good luck and congratulate our colleagues. We are formally waiting the signing and publishing of these orders by the president,” the PM said at today's Cabinet meeting.
